In any season, weather and children save is the horseback ride Monteverde - Arenal Volcano along Lake Arenal (photo below). You will have lake and volcano view along the way at all times as well as you ride along the jungle. A quick boat transfer brings you to the other side of the lake and to your destination in a Fortuna or a taxi up to Monteverde.

We also have developed an alternative ride to this one, that we recommend a better alternative to this ride.

Depending on interest and experience we offer the 2 hour campesino tour at $ 50 US up to day ride for $ 125 US per person.
